European Microsurgical Research Association

The 6th congress of the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery is taking place in Helsinki, Finland from June 29th to July 2nd, 2011. The 6th WSRM congress is designed to provide an international forum where you are able to exchange scientific information and network with leaders and friends within the family of microsurgery including hand, plastic and orthopaedic surgeons, as well as basic scientists from all over the world.

The 24th Annual Meeting of the Italian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery will take place in Sicily, in Palermo, on October 20th/22th 2011. Our Scientific Society keeps expanding and microsurgical techniques are being applied to lots of different medical disciplines and are now of great interest for many, especially amongst the younger surgeons. Exchanging ideas with other Societies has highlighted how our society has grown from a quality point of view, above all during the recent meeting in Modena with the American, Japanese and Korean Microsurgery Societies.

We have the privilege and great honour of being able to invite you to participate in the II th Congress of the European Federation of Societies of Microsurgery in Paris, France, The congress is scheduled for the 5th to 7th April 2012.

The scientific committee has prepared an extensive and exciting program that showcases the latest advances and technique, in microsurgery, Our principal goal i, that the meeting will have something to offer to all levels _ tram junior trainees to experts in the field, ranging from practical messages to new techniques and ideas for our patients. Instructional course, including videos on the main topics of microsurgery, will provide the ideal forum for the most experimented and reputable microsurgeons to present their practical tips and tricks.
