This thesis reports on the on-going effort to design and implement an Interactive Control Engineering Computer Analysis Package (ICECAP). When fully implemented, ICECAP will enable control engineers to design and analyze continuous and discrete control problems. This effort developed and implemented the functional requirements for the design of a continuous multiple input-single output system using Quantitative Feedback Theory. This includes the definition of the tracking and disturbance models, plant transfer functions and the nominal loop transmission; the determination of plant templates; the calculation of the tracking, disturbance and composite bounds; the formation of the cascade compensator, loop transmission and the closed-loop transfer functions for both a commanded and disturbance input. Frequency and time response options are provided for the models and closed loop transfer functions. User assistance and error detection is provided.
