Study findings presented in the profile of the university president highlighted a passion for the organization's mission, suggesting that it is a powerful motivational force in inspiring others to accept a vision. The research also found evidence indicating that both of the primary traits that Collins associates with the Level 5 executive---professional will and humility---were inherent in the president's leadership qualities.
