This study follows the recommendations of several scholars by producing a theoretical framework that can be used to examine how the actions of individuals, groups and society impact creativity. Woodman, Sawyer and Griffin's (1993) Interactionist Model of organizational creativity and Deci and Ryan's (1985) model of Self-Determination are used to synthesize various theoretical models of creativity into a new framework.
