And the Secretary of the Interior was supposed to pay this money out to the Cherokee Indians in compliance with this judgment? ... expenses incurred by the Secretary of the Interior for making the roll to make the payments, the Cherokees themselves received $4, 105, 810.77 on March 15, 1910. ... That has nothing to do with the merits of the proposition, except to show how much money they really lost.
