History of wooden ketch vessel the Redbill. Traces the many uses of the vessel over the past century, including its use as a pearling vessel in Broome, its time in Darwin during the bombing, crocodile hunting and cargo carrying in Papua, sailing the South Pacific for Greenpeace, helping refugees in East Timor, carrying troubled teenagers over Bass Strait, and an encounter with tropical cyclone Rosita. Includes appendix, endnotes, bibliography, index of boats and index.They arrived in Sydney on 4 February and stayed for a month, taking friends and tourist groups out on Redbill, while Peter learned the the art of circular breathing needed to play the didgeridoo (yidaki) from crew member Warren Addicott.
