This popular casebook is divided into three parts: Part I focuses on legal issues arising out of amateur sports. Particular emphasis is placed on the roles, rules, and activities of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The issues addressed include amateur sports associations, gender equity in amateur athletics, and amateur sports and antitrust law. Part II addresses with legal issues in professional sports.
