a composite doll should be marked, as much for our own identification as for that of any one examining it or for exhibition purposes. I must admit for all my rationalizing, that many times moth-eaten, dust covered, dilapidated looking dolls have their value for me in just ... but we cannot call them a#39;Queen Victoriaa#39;sa#39; nor can we call the wooden dolls she played with circa 1820, Victoria dolls. ... It has worked fine for me and has helped me build up a collection in which I take much delight.
